During my 26-year tenure at Parle Global Technologies, I had the privilege of contributing to several key areas that have significantly advanced the company’s progress. One of our notable achievements has been the substantial growth in our Market presence, particularly through Strategic initiatives aimed at creating a diverse portfolio of Reliable solutions.

I have been fortunate to play a leading role in overseeing a talented team that has successfully launched several innovative products. These products, both indigenously manufactured and sourced from our Global principals, have garnered positive feedback from clients and enhanced our competitive edge.

The “Make in India” initiative is a transformative effort aimed at establishing India as a Global Manufacturing Powerhouse, in line with the Vision of our Honourable Prime Minister. As a part of this initiative and with a view to establish Parle Global as an Assured Technology Provider, we have forged Technology partnerships with Global solution providers like HATA, Japan, CUBEGEL, South Korea and SEPHA, United Kingdom, all of whom play a crucial role in fostering innovation and achieving strategic goals within their respective fields. These partnerships have emerged as a highly successful engagement models, consistently delivering outstanding results and demonstrating rapid progress.

My journey at Parle started in 1999 by servicing and sales of imported machines and transitioned to selling tooling in the domestic market.

In 2004, I moved into Parle’s Exports Division, focusing on promoting our manufactured products globally. It has been an exciting and fulfilling career, and looking back, I’m amazed at how more than 25 years have passed within the organization.

A dedicated team is the backbone of any organization. At Parle Global, the mutual trust between management and staff has driven our success. In 2004, our exports were just Rs. 76 lakhs, but we have since surpassed the Rs. 100 crore mark, thanks to committed individuals like Mr. Esmail Mansoori, Mr. Girish Kulkarni, and Ms. Kosha Rajyaguru, Mr. Paresh Sharma, Mr. Deepak Kamath, Mr. Chetan Patil and other team members who have been part of this exciting journey.

Today, we reach over 90 countries, fuelled by customer trust. As we celebrate 50 years, we are more energized than ever, committed to being a trusted partner for high-quality products from India.

In my tenure of over 24 years at Parle, we have grown from a tooling manufacturer to a high-end machine manufacturing company, from an agency representation business model to a joint venture organization, from a basic machine shop to multiple facilities with high-end CNC machines, robotics, and automation and from a modest 100-member team to a giant organization with dedicated workforce of 1,200.

At Parle, we have embarked on a journey of Operational Excellence establishing a structured process with Standard Operating Procedures governed by a Quality Management System, continuous employee upgradation, developing a dedicated Process Development Team to evaluate each business process in alignment with engineering innovations and the business process cycle.

Our Best Operating Practices include Data Driven decision making, Continuous Improvement Programs, Infrastructure Expansion, PDCA Cycle Implementation among others. Our systems are established to ensure the highest quality with minimal defects.

Starting in the 2000, the challenge was of expanding our market reach and building a solid foundation for sales excellence. Today, I am proud to be part of a leadership team dedicated to sustaining our position as a market leader, continuously adapting to the evolving needs of the pharmaceutical and packaging industries.

During my time at Parle Global, I’ve seen a significant shift in our sales approach. We moved from building a customer base to a data-driven, customer-centric model. My more than two-decade journey at Parle has been one of self-discovery, revealing capabilities I hadn’t realized I possessed before joining the company. This growth was fuelled by tackling diverse challenges to meet the ever-evolving organizational goals, combined with the invaluable experiences.

Taking inspiration from the agency division, we surged ahead, progressing from manufacturing machines worth a few lakhs to entire counting lines valued more than Rs. 2.50 crores. Our design team, constantly learning and evolving to meet market trends and needs, has been the epicentre of innovation at Parle.

The team’s “can-do” attitude has driven continuous improvement in our machines, with no end in sight. This relentless pursuit of innovation reflects another facet of technology at Parle. While technology itself isn’t unique to us, our passion lies in seamlessly incorporating it into both new and existing products.
