South Asia’s Premier Refrigeration & Cold-Chain Exhibition

REFCOLD India, launched in 2018 by the Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) in collaboration with Informa Markets, has rapidly become South Asia’s premier exhibition and conference for the refrigeration and cold chain industry. The event serves as a vital platform for showcasing innovative technologies, fostering business opportunities, and facilitating knowledge exchange among industry professionals, manufacturers, suppliers, and policymakers.

Over the years, REFCOLD India has been hosted in various cities across the country, including Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Chennai, and Kolkata, reflecting its commitment to addressing regional industry needs. The 2023 edition in Chennai marked a significant milestone, featuring over 200 exhibitors and attracting more than 10,000 attendees from sectors such as retail, pharmaceuticals, seafood, dairy, and logistics. Similarly, the 2024 event in Kolkata continued this trend, with over 130 exhibitors and a comparable visitor turnout, highlighting innovations in sustainable refrigeration and cold chain solutions.

The exhibition has consistently drawn participation from international stakeholders, including delegations from countries like Bangladesh and Russia, underscoring its global appeal and significance in the refrigeration and cold chain sector.

Supported by esteemed organizations such as the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR), the National Centre for Cold-chain Development (NCCD), and the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MOFPI), REFCOLD India continues to play a pivotal role in driving industry advancements and promoting sustainable practices.

Looking ahead, REFCOLD India 2025 is scheduled to take place from September 18 to 20 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, promising to further the dialogue on innovative refrigeration technologies and cold chain solutions critical to India’s economic and environmental goals.
