Roadshows to fuel momentum for Pharma Pro&Pack Expo & analytica Lab India 2025

157 senior professionals from pharmaceutical manufacturing, laboratory technology and process automation attended the networking roadshow on “Smart Factories, Smarter Drugs: Building Pharma 4.0 Ecosystems” on 18th July 2025 at Novotel, Ahmedabad.

The Pharma Pro&Pack Expo and analytica Lab India 2025 pre-event roadshow successfully concluded in Ahmedabad, attracting 157 senior professionals from pharmaceutical manufacturing, laboratory technology and process automation.

Organized by Messe München India in collaboration with the Indian Pharma Machinery Manufacturers’ Association (IPMMA), the event centered on the theme “Smart Factories, Smarter Drugs: Building Pharma 4.0 Ecosystems.”

The engaging program featured a high-level panel discussion, live technology demonstrations, and focused networking sessions, all designed to build momentum for the flagship trade fairs scheduled from 18-20 September 2025 at HITEX Exhibition Centre, Hyderabad.

Expert insights drive panel discussion

The panel discussion on the topic “Smart Factories, Smarter Drugs: Building Pharma 4.0 Ecosystems” was moderated by Mr. Shirish Belapure, Senior Technical Adviser, Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance. The panel unpacked the practical steps toward Pharma 4.0 adoption. The panellists provided deep industry insights from their decades of experience.

Mr. S V Gopalakrishnan, Sr. Vice President – Corporate Quality, Zydus Life Sciences, stated: “Pharma 4.0 is here and it is time for pharma companies to move to the next level as soon as possible. Automation is important, digitization is important so we need to learn the processes and integrate them as fast as we can as the benefits are endless. I see a lot of manufacturers coming here, and from a manufacturing viewpoint it will be a good experience to be in Hyderabad to understand the latest products showcased there. Pharma teams should definitely be there looking at the exposure that you will get in terms of the scenarios and technologies discussed. I believe it will be a great experience for all industry professionals.”

From his perspective, Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh, Sr. Vice President – Operations, Cadila Pharmaceutical Ltd., said: “Industry 4.0 is very relevant from the regulatory perspective as well as to stabilize and expand our business. Similarly, the Pharma Pro&Pack event is definitely relevant for the industry as it is a single platform where we can connect with the industry and each other to observe, understand and discuss new technologies.”

While Mr. Naresh Kumar Gaur, Executive Vice President – Operations, Stallion Laboratories Pvt.
