Shaping Smart & Future-Ready Pharma
through global vision and local agility

As the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries navigate unprecedented technological, regulatory, and operational change, the ability to balance global innovation with local execution has become a defining competitive advantage. The ISPE Singapore Conference & Exhibition 2026 (19-21 August 2026 | Suntec Singapore) embraces this challenge with its theme: “Smart & Future-Ready Pharma – Global Vision, Local Agility.”

Recognized as one of Asia-Pacific’s leading pharmaceutical manufacturing events, the conference brings together industry leaders, regulators, innovators, and technical experts to explore the strategies, technologies, and partnerships that will define the next generation of bio/pharma manufacturing.

Organized by dedicated volunteers from the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) Singapore Affiliate, this annual not-for-profit conference serves as a platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and professional development.

Building on the tremendous success of the 2025 edition – which welcomed more than 2,500 attendees from 32 countries, featured 109 expert speakers, and delivered 74 technical and leadership sessions – the 2026 conference is expected to continue its growth in participants and influence.

Today’s pharmaceutical manufacturers face a rapidly evolving landscape. Digital transformation, artificial intelligence, sustainability initiatives, advanced therapies, and increasingly complex regulatory requirements are reshaping how medicines are developed and produced. At the same time, organizations must remain agile enough to address local market needs, workforce challenges, and supply chain dynamics.

The conference programme has been carefully curated to address these priorities through a diverse range of tracks:

  • Regulatory
  • Facilities of the Future
  • Digital Transformation & AI Integration
  • Pharma 4.0 & Digital Implementation
  • Commissioning, Qualification & Validation (CQV)
  • Innovative Manufacturing & Sustainability
  • Quality, Compliance & Regulatory
  • ATMPs & Biologics
  • Aseptic Manufacturing

These topics reflect the industry’s growing focus on building intelligent, resilient, and sustainable manufacturing ecosystems.

Key Topics & Speakers

AI in Pharma & Healthcare, by Richard Koh, CTO, Microsoft Asia Enterprise Partner Solutions, Singapore.

Pharma 2030: Rewiring Pharma Operations for a Hyper-Connected World, by Adrian Widmer, Global Head of Digital, AI & Operational Excellence (interim); Roche, Switzerland.

Digital by Design: Engineering AI and Quality into the Biopharma Factories of the Future for Sustained Compliance, by Stelios Tsinontides, VP Global QMS, Transformation, and External Advocacy, Merck USA.

The urgency for transformation is clear. Industry analysts project the global Pharma 4.0 market to experience significant growth over the coming decade, driven by increasing adoption of AI, machine learning, digital twins, advanced automation, and data-driven manufacturing. Pharmaceutical companies are investing heavily in smart factories, predictive maintenance, real-time release testing, and connected operations to improve quality, efficiency, and speed to market.

Simultaneously, the rise of biologics, cell and gene therapies, and personalized medicines is creating demand for more flexible manufacturing platforms and innovative operational models. Organizations that successfully combine global best practices with local responsiveness will be best positioned to thrive in this new era.

The ISPE Singapore Conference & Exhibition 2026, provides attendees with direct access to global thought leaders, regional experts, regulators, and industry pioneers who are actively implementing these solutions. Through keynote presentations, case studies, technical sessions, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, delegates will discover practical approaches to accelerating digital maturity, strengthening compliance, enhancing sustainability, and driving operational excellence.

More than just a conference, this event is a gathering of the pharmaceutical manufacturing community – where ideas become action, partnerships are formed, and the future of the industry takes shape.
